This site is dedicated to the study of Argentine Tango. I consider Tango to be an evolving art form which includes social dance, performance dance, music and poetry. This site will primarily deal with the social form of Tango dance and music.
I have been dancing Tango since 2003 and teaching Tango since 2006 in Atlanta, Macon and Athens, Georgia. I regularly teach workshops around the Southeastern US and have also taught Internationally.
I love sharing my knowledge of Tango and have studied with master teachers in the US and Buenos Aires, Argentina. Some of the teachers that have influenced my dance are Sebastian Arce y Mariana Montes, Chicho Frumboli y Juana Sepulveda, El Pulpo, Homer and Cristina Ladas, Gustavo Naveira y Giselle, Silvina Vals and Oliver Kolker, Facundo y Kely Posadas, Osvaldo Zotto y Lorena Ermocida, Osvaldo y Coca and Gabriel Glagovsky.
I usually teach with Shelley Brooks (Atlanta, Athens), Lena Hrybok (Atlanta) and Joyce Newman (Macon). Shelley and Lena are both members of Tango Evolution, which is an Argentine Social Club that I helped organize in 2004. Through this group we throw Milongas (Tango Dance Parties) and conduct classes and workshops.
